Pia has been a valued member of our eventing team for many years. Together with her husband Ben, she is based at Rodderberg in Bonn, where they run a successful training and competition yard. From young horses to 4* winners, all horses at PB Eventhorses are equipped with Stübben products — we are proud to accompany Pia, Ben, and their horses on their journey and in their successes.

Achievements

• Pia won the CCI4-S at Hamm‑Rhynern* riding her Polish gelding Jard (v. Huzar) in July 2025 — marking her second win at the 4-star level. 

• At the prestigious Military Boekelo in October 2025, Leuwer achieved 4th place individually after the dressage phase, making her the best performing German rider at that stage.

• InJuly 2024 at the international event in Emmeloord (Netherlands), Leuwer secured 1st place in the CCI2*-S with her 7-year-old mare Hanami 4 (v. Hambacher), showing her strong performance in younger horse classes. 

• She and her husband Ben Leuwer run the training and eventing stable P&B Eventhorses GbR, at the event at Gut Weiherhof in Radolfzell achieved a triple victory (all three classes) — showcasing their stable’s depth and success.

"The breastplate is something very special for me. I was part of the development and was able to contribute my ideas. It is great that it fulfils the hoped for improvements in comparison to other breastplates. It offers my horses maximum shoulder freedom in cross-country as well as in jumping and they are not restricted at any moment either at the jump or in their movements in canter. You can feel that they are feeling comfortable."
