The Stübben Gravity Over Reach Boots with fleece lining offer maximum heel protection with extra comfort for sensitive horses. The anatomical, non-rotating design stays securely in place while the soft fleece edge prevents rubbing and pressure — ideal for training, turnout or competition.

Description  

Many over reach boots have tried and failed to stop rotation during exercise. At Stübben and Evolution we decided to change to rules on tradition and design a boot that is effective regardless!

The ultra hard wearing kevlar straps naturally rotate to the lowest point, and are in position to protect from over reaches. 


The luxurious faux fleece collar is perfect to protect from rubs and is washing machine friendly. The main body is made from our unique EVA carbon, die-pressed for an unrivalled lightweight, durable and protective boot.

Size Guide  

Choose the correct size based on the horse’s pastern and heel coverage — the boot should fully protect the heel bulbs without sitting too low on the ground. It must sit snugly but not tight, allowing natural flexion without rubbing. Ideal fit is achieved when the boot stays centered during movement and does not twist or drift.

Care  

The boots can be washed in the washing machine up to a maximum of 30 degrees. Close the fasteners before washing. Not suitable for tumble drying.

Usage  

Place the over reach boots gently around the hoof, following the natural direction of the coat to avoid irritation. Ensure the fleece is clean, dry and free from sand or debris before application. The closure must always face the front of the hoof, not the back. Fasten securely but never tightly — the boot should not press into the pastern, yet stay firmly in position. Check that the bell sits smoothly over the heel bulbs and allows complete freedom of movement.
