The Stübben Stud Girth Contour offers targeted protection for the horse’s underside during jumping, while maintaining full freedom of movement and pressure relief. Its anatomical shape ensures a secure saddle position without restriction, crafted from premium leather for maximum comfort and performance.

Description  

Stud girth Contour is a high-quality, anatomically shaped leather girth with triple elastication on both ends. It is made from one piece of leather without that bothersome central seam. Its shape provides the highest degree of elbow freedom and thus optimises the horse’s performance over the fences and in its movements. On both sides below the elasticated ends, and in the middle the girth has rust-proof D-rings to allow the attachment of auxiliary reins. On the side of the belly, the whole surface of the girth Contours has been padded with soft panel leather. On the other side, the girth is made of robust and easy-care leather.

Size Guide  

Choose your regular stud girth length — the Contour shape is designed to sit correctly without requiring you to size up or down. If your current stud girth fits well, select the same length. Sizes: 120cm, 125cm, 130cm, 135cm, 140cm, 145cm

Usage  

Always ensure the girth is positioned correctly and tightened gradually on both sides to achieve balance and avoid pressure points. The girth should allow full freedom of movement while keeping the saddle securely in place — never overtighten, and always check again after walking the horse a few steps.

Care  

We recommend cleaning the girth regularly with a damp cloth and conditioning it with Stübben Leather Care products to preserve suppleness and protect the leather from sweat and wear. Avoid excessive soaking — gentle, consistent care ensures long-lasting performance and a premium look.
