General Terms and Conditions for the Test Rental of the REV Saddle

These GTC govern the temporary test rental of the REV Saddle provided by Stübben GmbH & Co. KG via the:

REV Saddle Test page

1. Scope of Application

These terms apply to the temporary rental of a REV Saddle for private testing.

2. Subject of the Agreement

The agreement covers the temporary provision of a REV Saddle for private use.

3. Rental Period and Fees

The rental period is a maximum of 14 calendar days from the day of delivery to the customer.

The rental fee is €5.00 per day. Fees apply once the customer signs the rental agreement, regardless of delivery status.

For the trial period, a deposit of €150 is required before the saddle is shipped or handed over. The deposit also serves as an advance payment toward the trial fees for the first 30 calendar days.

The trial period begins once the payment details have been successfully provided and authorized.

If the saddle is returned before the end of 30 calendar days, the actual trial period will be charged at €5 per calendar day. The difference between the deposit paid and the actual trial fee incurred will be refunded promptly after we receive the saddle.

If the trial period exceeds 30 calendar days, an additional advance payment of €150 will automatically be charged for the next 30 calendar days. This applies accordingly to each further started period of 30 calendar days. In addition, a one-time shipping fee will be charged at the start of the trial period. This includes outbound and return shipping and varies depending on the delivery country.

Returns handed over to the shipping provider within 14 days incur no extra fees if delays occur due to force majeure.

Force majeure includes unforeseeable, unavoidable events outside the parties' control.

The fee obligation ends only upon delivery to the Stübben logistics center.

4. Credit Toward Purchase

If the customer purchases a new REV Saddle within 14 days after the rental ends, all rental fees paid will be credited toward the purchase price.

5. Shipping and Return

The saddle is shipped in a box including a return label. The original box and label must be used for returns.

The saddle must be handed to the shipping provider no later than the last day of the rental period.

6. Condition of the Saddle

The customer must handle the saddle carefully and return it in the same condition. Normal wear is acceptable.

Major damage, heavy soiling, or loss must be reported and may result in compensation claims.

7. Late Return

If the saddle is not returned within the agreed period, Stübben may charge the full purchase price of a new REV Saddle.

The drop-off date at the shipping provider is decisive.

8. Liability

The customer is liable for all damage, loss, or improper use during the rental period.

Return shipping damage is excluded if the original box and provided return label were used correctly.

9. Retention of Title

The REV Saddle remains the property of Stübben GmbH & Co. KG at all times.

10. Final Provisions

Amendments must be in writing. German law applies. Jurisdiction is the registered office of Stübben GmbH & Co. KG.
