Stainless steel is a durable alloy based on iron, chromium and nickel. The chromium content gives the bit its characteristic silver appearance and contributes to its excellent resistance to corrosion and wear.
Feel & Effect:
Smooth and highly durable surface
Neutral in taste and smell
Does not additionally stimulate chewing or salivation
Best suited for: A versatile choice for most horses, particularly those that are comfortable with a neutral mouthpiece and do not require additional stimulation to chew.
Sweet Copper is a special alloy consisting of 90% copper, 7% iron and 3% aluminium. Its naturally pleasant, slightly sweet taste encourages salivation and chewing and can help improve the horse’s acceptance of the bit.
Feel & Effect:
Encourages chewing
Pleasant, slightly sweet taste
Can support a more relaxed and active mouth
Absorbs warmth quickly – ideal for warming by hand in winter
Best suited for: Horses that chew or salivate very little, as well as sensitive horses that benefit from a pleasant-tasting mouthpiece.
Care: Rinse with water and dry after use. Copper may naturally develop some discolouration over time. This is a normal process and does not affect the quality of the bit.
PU is an innovative, food-safe and non-toxic material designed with the horse’s comfort in mind. An integrated metal core provides stability and helps prevent the mouthpiece from breaking or deforming.
Feel & Effect:
Soft and gentle in the horse’s mouth
Flexible and exceptionally lightweight
Warms up quickly and feels pleasant even in winter
Best suited for: Young and sensitive horses, or horses that prefer a soft, lightweight and flexible mouthpiece.
