Le bridon Island dispose d’une têtière souplement rembourrée et d’une muserolle doublée pour un excellent confort et une répartition homogène de la pression. Léger, il évite les surépaisseurs et les frottements inutiles. Son frontal droit souligne son allure classique, idéale pour l’entraînement, les loisirs et la compétition.
Contrairement aux bridons islandais traditionnels, les montants et la muserolle sont fixés directement à la têtière. Les réglages peuvent ainsi être effectués facilement des deux côtés, sans créer de points de pression dus aux boucles au niveau de la nuque. Le frontal peut également être remplacé facilement. Les crochets en acier inoxydable permettent un changement rapide du mors.
Le bridon Island est disponible en noir avec bouclerie argentée ou en ebony avec bouclerie laiton. Les coutures sont assorties au cuir. Selon vos préférences, vous pouvez choisir une muserolle combinée anglaise ou une muserolle allemande.
The bridle should sit comfortably behind the ears and not restrict the horse’s movement. Ensure that the bridle is neither too loose nor too tight. The noseband should sit approximately two fingers’ width below the cheekbone, allowing enough space for comfort and unrestricted breathing. The bit and cheekpieces should be adjusted so that a few small wrinkles appear at the corners of the horse’s mouth, indicating that the bit sits correctly without causing pressure or discomfort.
Reins and bit are not included.
After each use, wipe down all leather parts that are exposed to sweat and residue. Clean the bridle regularly with Stübben leather care products to maintain the quality of the leather. Store the bridle in a dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve both leather and metal fittings. Regular inspection of all buckles and stitching is recommended.
