The anatomical shape allows the horse to breathe freely and move its mouth naturally, without restriction. The thoughtful design also enables the use of different bits without interference from the noseband. Pressure is evenly distributed across the nose bridge, lower jaw, chin groove, and poll, ensuring optimal comfort and balance.Additional lambskin padding beneath the rings and at the cross point of the nose straps prevents friction and pressure points, offering extra softness for sensitive horses. With silver-colored fittings adding a refined and stylish touch, the Stübben Mexican Noseband is the perfect choice for riders seeking comfort, quality, and timeless elegance – ideal for both training and competition.
The bridle should sit comfortably behind the ears and not restrict the horse’s movement. Ensure that the bridle is neither too loose nor too tight. The noseband should sit approximately two fingers’ width below the cheekbone, allowing enough space for comfort and unrestricted breathing. The bit and cheekpieces should be adjusted so that a few small wrinkles appear at the corners of the horse’s mouth, indicating that the bit sits correctly without causing pressure or discomfort.
Reins and bit are not included.
After each use, wipe down all leather parts that are exposed to sweat and residue. Clean the bridle regularly with Stübben leather care products to maintain the quality of the leather. Store the bridle in a dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve both leather and metal fittings. Regular inspection of all buckles and stitching is recommended.
