The Benni´s Harmony Portos Iceland I is a double-flap saddle featuring an integrated knee roll. It combines lightness and elegance with comfort, making it ideal for competitive use. It serves as a reliable partner for demanding training sessions and tournaments.

The medium-deep, softly padded seat promotes a balanced and stable position without restricting the rider´s freedom of movement. The knee rolls are integrated into the saddle flap and padded with extra-soft foam inserts, allowing them to contour comfortably to the rider´s leg. In addition to the standard knee roll, a smaller size is available for those seeking a completely independent leg position. An optional shaft protection on the saddle flap ensures structural stability and contributes significantly to the saddle´s longevity.

The wide bearing surface and the characteristically wide chamber channel ensure the horse’s comfort is prioritized as well. The panel offers sufficient volume, allowing easy re-stuffing or adjustment at any time.

The Portos Iceland I is part of the Benni’s Harmony collection and was developed in collaboration with Icelandic horse expert Benni Líndal. He is an A-level riding instructor and has a Master’s degree in taming horses from the Icelandic Riding Instructors’ Association (FT). For several years he worked as a riding instructor at both Hvanneyri Agricultural University of Iceland and Hólar University College. He has successfully participated in many of the biggest tournaments for Icelandic horses, both in Iceland and elsewhere, such as Landsmót, European Championships and World Championships.

Visually, the Portos Iceland I impresses with its sporty, elegant lines that can be strikingly accentuated by optional contrasting stitching.

Like all Stübben saddles, the Portos Iceland I is handcrafted at our workshop in Kempen (Lower Rhine), Germany, using only carefully selected, high-quality materials and raw components.

The elaborate crafting of the integrated knee rolls and the delicately worked back accent place special demands on the manufacturing process, requiring the highest level of precision, experience, and craftsmanship.
